[attr="class","basicinfoappnotbold"]ANGRY - Abaddon has been angry for as long as he can remember being alive. Even as an angel, he was particularly harsh and unforgiving. He was wrathful, but it was okay, because it was holy wrath for the most part. It takes very little to set him off, but he is old enough to control how mad about something he's going to get and what he's going to let that anger do to him and those around him.

WRATHFUL - To this day, Aba is angry and aggressive. Overkill is just his brand. He will beat people up for the hell of it. When he is angry, he wants people to hurt and be angry with him, he wants to destroy things constantly. Abaddon wants war, he wants to set fires and stand in them while they burn.

PROUD - He's proud but with reason. He has done much, been through much, seen much. He would argue he just knows his worth, but he is proud. He thinks himself above most things and is not shy about saying so.

INTELLIGENT - He's lived an incredibly long life and has learned much over the course of it. While he may not bother being as well-spoken as some of his counterparts, he is a vault of knowledge and wisdom. He is happy to share that wisdom with people he thinks are worth it - people he thinks will actually listen to him.

ANTAGONISTIC - He loves to be a particularly large thorn in sides. Abaddon likes to pick fights, he likes making people angry, he likes getting a rise out of people. He argues that he does it for a reason and he does, but sometimes he does just start shit with people for fun. He is happy when he is something for someone to try and overcome, to strive for - even if they work towards it forever.

EXPECTANT - Those that he is close to or invested in are expected to uphold a certain standard. He wants them to be the best and he will push them to be that. He will help - in his own way - even if it doesn't make sense to those he is pushing in the moment.

FEARLESS - He's too old to be scared of things anymore. He doesn't run from things anymore.

LOYAL - Evil and wrathful as he is, he is not without loyalty. He can be a very powerful, albeit expensive, ally. He's got a code and if you make it worth his while, he will be there for you.

[attr="class","basicinfoappnotbold"]Abaddon was created for a questionable purpose, he thinks. He was divine wrath, he was sent to destroy whatever the Creator deemed worthy of destruction. As it turns out, you don't get to be God's personal wrecking ball without it taking a toll on you. Abaddon was always quick to anger and his anger was often explosive - sometimes literally. Maybe it was all of that, that and when he started questioning why an omniscient, benevolent being needed a creature designed to bring death and destruction, that made Lucifer's rebellion so attractive to him. Through all of Aba's uncertainty and doubt, he found something solid and consistent in his older brother. He looked up to Lucifer, no matter how much he might deny it now, he always had. More than he ever did Michael or Gabriel, but there was a time when he loved and admired all of them - withered and eroded as it would all become over centuries that bled into millennia.

When Lucifer fell, Abaddon fell with him and the two of them were confined to Hell. Abaddon settled into his layer, the 9th circle of Hell, Treachery, almost immediately after they'd carved the landscape. Despite being locked away, their confinement was not as severe as some of their other felled kin. Lucifer wasted very little time in creating more demons and eventually, Abaddon would start dabbling in creating his own line of demons. He was not nearly as keen on it as Lucifer so his 'bloodline' is smaller, but he argues they are better. Abaddon was eager to get to the surface, to be a thorn in the side of a family that abandoned him. It's that abandonment and isolation that would start to twist Abaddon into what he is today. He never really stopped being angry, he never stopped feeling that compulsion to destroy things, but suddenly it wasn't okay to do that because the Creator wasn't pointing him at his targets anymore.

It did not stop him from lashing out as soon as he found a way to stay on the surface. Abaddon was a thorn that grew into a massive bramble patch over centuries. He leaned fully into being an Archdemon, he did not fight the way that power wanted to corrupt and twist him, he welcomed it if it meant being strong enough to stand against his older brothers and sisters. He fought anyone who would fight him and he often crushed those he couldn't force or goad into a fight. He started to become jealous of Lucifer and the recognition he received from those demons they had both pulled from the abyss and created from nothing. Abaddon argued he'd done more for Hell, for all of them, while Lucifer - as far as he is concerned - lost his way over the centuries.

That jealousy would twist into a powerful resentment, a hatred for his closest kin. The Archdemon of treachery would eventually start entertaining the idea of murdering his brother. It would brew and fester for centuries before Lucifer would even notice. In that time, Abaddon would take a more personal interest in building a bloodline, in getting closer to mortals to better understand them. He would argue that he cared for or even loved some of them. He fathered a daughter and then centuries later he would father a son. He was far from a doting father to either of them, but they grew up well looked after in every sense of the word. And maybe that is why he feels justified in treating them the way that he does and has for years.

Abaddon would never know the satisfaction of killing Lucifer, something he still feels was robbed from him to this day because Lucifer would see himself killed by a family of witches. While he is upset about missed opportunities, he is grateful to that family and he respects them for killing the devil - pathetic as Abaddon thought he was in his final days.

He would later go to throw open the gates of Heaven to bring demons and war to the doorstep of his former family. He would stay and fight the good fight as it spiraled into something that now exists outside of time, something that has rippled and ripped holes across time and space. Abaddon would get the satisfaction of killing another of his kin, Michael, and that is when Abaddon felt he deserved a break from the war. His satisfaction was short lived because Micahel would be resurrected, something that has infuriated the old Archdemon more than he can express.

He's trying to get reinvested in the other Archdemons around him, and he has taken an interest in some. Others he's less enthusiastic about, but for now he is letting things lie. Angels are restless and uppity and having that same unrest in their ranks could be troublesome. He has started to miss the fighting, and the bloodshed, and imagines he'll eventually go back to finish what he started when he feels good and ready. For now, he's content to exist as he is.
