what have i become?
Have you ever wondered what would happen to an unwilling human vessel for a demon when the entity was finished using it? Well, it isn't pretty. Discarded are the results of an unwilling, taken human, someone that was human before the possession, vessel being vacated. The results are dulled, very sickly looking humans who have lost all the things that made them that way to begin with.
» APPEARANCE.
» Human --//
They largely just appear to be a human that has not had sleep in several days, they will often just look really tired, maybe a little sickly, but otherwise they normally look fairly human. There are rare cases where the human will look incredibly mangled or disfigured, but they are largely normal aside from the deep bags under their eyes.
» BEHAVIOR.
» The way one becomes a discarded is fairly simple. They were an unwilling human who was stolen as a vessel by a demon. The demon has to be either exorcised or leave the vessel permanently on their own. The human left behind will instantly change in appearance, becoming something tired and worn looking. They will only become this way if the possession was longer than their natural lifespan, otherwise they will simply carry on from where they left off. These creatures are not long lived at all, they typically only survive this way for five to ten years before their body just gives out. Some can kick out as little as a few days after being abandoned.
They can still fit in to normal society, they just seem very dull, tired, and twitchy. They get angered very easily and will lash out over the smallest upsets. They sometimes live alone, though they have been known to form small groups. They will eat anything they can catch and fit their mouths around to take a bite. For some reason the left over demonic energy inside of them grants them this weird iron stomach and hunger so profound they will eat anything. Even other people.
They are not viable for reproduction.

They will feel so hungry that they will eat just about anything.
» Iron Belly--//
They can eat anything and digest it without much issue.
» Dulled Nerves --//
They will not react to pain, years of wear on them will dull their nerve endings to the point that they won't feel pain as sharply, some won't feel it at all.
» Dulled Emotions --//
They don't seem to feel emotions very deeply if they do at all, they don't form deep emotional connections with people in this state either.
» WEAKNESSES.
» Poor Eyesight --//
They have incredibly poor vision, they often rely more on hearing to get around better.
» Undesirable --//
They aren't particularly well liked by other species and are very sought after by hunters and anyone really. Most just want these things dead.
» Mortal --//
They can still be hurt or killed in normal ways.
» Permanent Confusion --//
Many of these beings are from vastly different times so they will almost always be very confused by things of the present world.
» Short Life --//
They don't live very long.
