In the present day, supernatural creatures have revealed their existance and struggle for acceptance. Supernaturals from all over the world flock to the UK for the basic rights and freedoms all should be allowed. As a result, the British countries have become forerunners in adjusting to a world where creatures of myth live like anybody else, with much of Europe slowly attempting to follow in their footsteps.

[attr="class","basicinfoappnotbold"] Combative: It kinda comes with the territory, really. Lianne doesn't see fighting as a bad thing, She honestly doesn't really understand the people who do. War, sure, she can see the downside of that. But two people settling an issue by turning each other to pulp, that seems pretty harmless to her. Honestly, she'd consider a debate filled with ad hominem to be worse.
Stubborn: Again, there's probably some territory there. She's headstrong and tenacious, which is to say she's pig-headed once she decides to dig her heels in. She'd as happily tell the entire world to go to hell as change her mind, and the former's a lot easier. This extends to anything she decides to get involved with, as well. It'd take some pretty stern persuasion to get her to change course.
Independent: Lianne likes to make do with the bare minimum of ties down. Friends, she's alright with because she can drop in on them after months, ideally. Odd jobs for cash suit her just fine, as do rented apartments. Even if she stays in one area for a while and picks up a routine, she likes the idea that she can leave.
Trusting: Lianne's not naive. She's seen more than enough of people lying to know they do it, and she sure doesn't trust strangers, but once she falls in with somebody, she's going to believe them. She doesn't lie to her friends (if she can avoid it), and so she doesn't expect them to lie to her.
Resents Manipulation: The culmination of many of these traits is that Lianne hates doing other people's dirty work. If she fights, or threatens, or argues, or makes peace, she wants to do it on her own terms. Not for somebody else, whether willingly or unwillingly. One sure-fire way to get her angry is to try and manipulate her into doing something for you. She'll offer if she really wants to. It ties into why she doesn't like angels and demons - she wants to punch people for herself, not for you.
Simplistic: In general, Lianne keeps to a pretty simple, black-and-white view of the world. People she likes, and people she doesn't. Good, and bad. Right and wrong. Friends and enemies. She can think deeper when she wants to, but she doesn't often have reason to.

[attr="class","basicinfoappnotbold"]Lianne's story isn't particularly remarkable amongst Valkyries. She was born to a Valkyrie mother, following a bout with a Gargoyle father who didn't know of her existence. She was a fairly free child, but solitary - being a supe before they were out, and a Valkyrie, Bronwyn Dahl didn't exactly spent much time in one area, and Lianne wasn't registered in any schools. She received a functional education from her mother.
