ANGELS

Some created before time and space existed, Angels are the acting force of good in the world against the evil which would be the demons. Divine servants created by a creator to fulfill different tasks and duties. They are winged spiritual entities native to Heaven, imbued with holy white light. It’s rumored that they look like righteous monstrosities, having anywhere from two to six wings, and sometimes up to four faces, one of which is a lion. Angels consider themselves family to one another, often using the terms “brother” and “sister” to refer to others. They may refer to the creator as “father”. Angels are interpreted differently all across the world, as are demons.
Angels, being manifestations of pure light, cannot reproduce, and don’t have any need to as all angels are created through one process or another. They may choose not to express their emotions though all angels are capable of feeling them, deeply at that. Most do not like to show emotions, however, believing them to be weak and a straight doorway to doubt. Though, some may be more open about emotions than others.
» THE HOLY REALM.
Heaven is the realm of the angels, the people of the creator. It is a mysterious place, no one really knows much about it, but it is know that it is divided into nine spheres. Each sphere is given to an archangel to reside in and over, these archangels are the primary governing force of the sphere, though the creator has a large say in what goes on through the use of his nine archangels. This place is the most beautiful place you could imagine, probably beyond what the human mind can comprehend. Depending on your faith when you die determines which sphere you end up in.
» TYPES OF ANGELS.
» Archangel
These angels are created by the creator for his divine purposes, they are rarely the results of an angel being promoted unless it is the result of some great deed that they have done. These angels are stronger than the lesser angels, but are usually placed under greater social restrictions than the others.
» Guardian
These are the angels sent or who choose to take on charges to watch over and protect.
» Warrior
The warriors are made up of soldiers in the creator's armies and also his demon hunters.
» Dream Walker
Dream walkers are the angels that frequently slip into people's dreams to deliver them messages from the creator and can also do so to ease the mind of someone struggling.
» Reapers
These are the angels sent to collect the souls of the dying and shuttle them to their proper sphere in the holy world.
» Virtues
The counter of the seven deadly sins, the seven virtues were originally created by the creator and their power is passed down to newly selected virtues when the old have been deemed unfit to continue their jobs.
» Fallen Angels
These are the angels that have sinned or committed a crime against the creator, they are banished from the holy realm and their power is drained drastically. So long as an angel does not become mortal or demonic in the fall, there is always a very, very small chance for redemption, however these angels are not particularly liked by angels or demons.
» APPEARANCE.
» True Form
The true form of an angel is a very mysterious thing, most angels will not reveal their true forms outside of the holy realm. The true form of an angel largely depends on the type of angel they are. Warriors are typically anonymous, their face hidden behind armor as is the rest of their body, while reapers tend to be misty hooded figures. The sky is the limit, though most of them are very impressive to look at.
» Human Form
The human form of an angel is really not so different from a regular human. They might seem to glow or have an unearthly sort of quality to them, but for the most part they just look like normal humans.
» POWERS.
» Angelic Possession
Angels require a vessel while on earth. However, they must have the vessel's permission before they can take control. Any species besides a vampire or demon can be taken as a vessel, however note that the species will lose all its previous powers, replaced by the angel’s.
» Basic Healing
All angels have the ability to heal others from minor, non-life threatening injuries/ailments.
» Immortality
Angels don't age and cannot be killed by diseases.
» Photokinesis
Angels can generate and manipulate light. In cases where they feel extremely threatened, they may choose to wield holy white light as an alternative. This white light can also be used to form the angel blades of the warriors and archangels.
» Regeneration
If an angel's vessel is damaged, it will repair itself nearly instantly. However, note than an angel can lose strength over a sustained period of trauma and critical injuries can take longer to heal.
» Summoning
Angels can be called to you by saying their full name alone. Just please don’t call them for your leaky pipes, they really do have better things to do.
» Supernatural Stamina
Angels do not require food, drink, or oxygen. They don't tire easily at all but do require rest very occasionally.
» Superhuman Strength
Physically, regular angels are more than a match for most mortals. Anything more intense or too strenuous will RAPIDLY consume their energy and weaken them temporarily.
» Supernatural Perception
Angels are able to see all supernatural activity around them. They have the ability to detect other species.
» Telepathy
Angels can read the minds of others.
» Teleportation
Angels are able to travel from one place to another, instantly, without occupying the space in between.
» Visiting Heaven
Angels do have the ability to travel between heaven and earth, but be mindful that to be on earth they need a vessel. To go to heaven, an angel can either be recalled by means of their vessel being critically wounded – if they manage to detach from the vessel in time. They can also go voluntarily, but once they leave their vessel, their vessel enters an intense coma-like state where breathing rate is dramatically slowed. The vessel is still technically the angel’s and they don’t need to regain permission, but while in heaven the vessel is left completely vulnerable.
**Telekinesis: Some high-level angels are also capable of Telekinesis, and this gift is considered a mark of status.
» WEAKNESSES.
» Exorcism Chants
There is an exorcism chant to expel angels from their human vessels and send them back to heaven. The chant is not well known and only powerful witches can use it or those that have the aid of a coven.
» Killing the Vessel
If really needed, the vessel can be killed to expel the angel from them. The human will not be able to be revived however and this method tends to only be used by the craziest of people. Beheading is the only effective method.
» Blood Mixing
Angels, being a pure being, are susceptible to blood mixing whether injected or ingested. Any blood of a species that their host wasn't (i.e. if the host was human, all other blood besides angel and human are bad) can weaken them, and in high doses may even incapacitate them. Demon and Vampire blood are more potent than other species for this effect.
» Demon Blades
These blades made of pure dark energy can and will kill an angel if it penetrates a vital part of the vessels body.
» RULES.
1. Angels must remain obedient to any order given to them from Heaven.
2. Angels are not to speak of Heaven or the creator other than what has already been revealed to the creatures of Earth.
3. Angels must remain chaste, however they are permitted to take on companionship or friendship that is pure and so long as it does not become a distraction.
4. Angels are not to talk about heavenly matters and in some cases, may not be allowed to speak of their purpose on Earth. This excludes talking to other brothers and sisters.
