These beings are often thought to be angels, however they are not. Valkyrie bend to no real master, though some point towards Odin, these warriors tend to be more roguish. They care nothing much for souls, contrary to popular belief they won't be ushering anyone to Valhalla should they fall in battle. Valkyrie live for the fight, the battle, and war. They are a completely FEMALE race who breed by copulating with males of other races. Demon seed will not produce a Valkyrie. They will not reproduce unless they can find a man that can best them in a fight, so they do not breed very often. They are said to be immortal and often times the only way they die is in a battle. They do not gain power as they age, they will reach their peak at 25, some are just genetically stronger at the base line than others. Training can help with this, but if someone stronger than you is training all their life as well, they will still be stronger. They tend to form small tribes with others and defend one another much like a small military outfit.


» APPEARANCE.
» Human Form --//
The human form of a Valkyrie is not much different than one of a natural human. They are the same size as a normal female, all variants included, and look very similar. The only thing off is that their eyes seem to be extremely vivid in color, and they most likely will have scars from various altercations.


» True Form--//
They have terrifying true forms that are often covered in various forms of armor. Whatever armor they were in when they returned to human form last is the armor that they will be in when they return to their true form the next time. They often have on traditional styled armor, often with winged helmets on. Some of the helmets cover their eyes, but only very skilled warriors will wear those as a sign of their adept abilities in battle. They have feathered wings, anywhere from two to eight, this is why they are often believed to be angels, but I assure you they are not. Just a mysterious race of warrior women. Their eyes will glow in their true form, it is a very intimidating sight. As it's meant to be. They are not any bigger in this form, but they are much denser and heavier.


» ABILITIES.
» Power activation --//
The true power, the strongest power of the Valkyrie is not readily made available to them at all times. These creatures operate at about fifty percent of their power in normal settings, putting them at the same level as a 'roided out Hulk Hogan. The rest of their power is only revealed in their true form because their human form cannot bear the wear and tear. They will not activate this power unless they absolutely have to. They are a proud race and prefer not to have to pull out the big guns to beat someone else.

» Inhuman Strength, Agility, and Stamina --//
These creatures are very physically strong, fast, and able to carry on for hours, even more so in their true form. It's about 50% in the human form. They are still peak humans as far as much of this is concerned. .

» Adrenaline Driven Healing --//
They have a regenerative healing that only seems to work when they are in the heat of battle or any other situation where their adrenaline may be pumping. More severe injuries take precedence over the minor ones. This tends to only activate when the true form of a Valkyrie is needed.

» Masters of War --//
They are remarkable warriors and though they can be beaten, it is not easy to defeat them. Valkyrie are very, very reluctant to get seriously involved in the wars of other races. They might jump in for a few battles, but they work very hard not to truly invest in the causes of mortals. They know they will be exploited, treated as weapons rather than people, so they tend to avoid it all together. This has become increasingly difficult as they integrate more and more into human society.

» Flight --//
They're very skilled flyers and are incredibly fast in the air. They very much need their wings to fly, however.

» Shifting --//
They can shift freely, though like unicorns, dragons, and phoenixes they may be a bit reluctant to reveal what they are to anyone. They are able to partially shift and allow their wings to be shown with their human form.

» Rallying Cry --//
They can call out in such a way that all Valkyrie within about a ten mile radius can hear them and can answer the call. These cries do not have to be answered and often times aren't unless the Valkyrie are just itching to jump into whatever is going on or it is one of their own tribe.

» Forging and Crafting Affinity --//
They are extremely gifted weapon and armor smiths and a weapon crafted by a Valkyrie is one of the best you can get your hands on. The metal they use is unknown, but there are few better at this than the Valkyrie.

» WEAKNESSES.
» Angels and Demons --//
The Valkyrie are not very well liked by the angels and demons simply because they cannot be manipulated easily to join either side of the ageless war between them. They are messy rogues who only mess up the outcomes of seemingly predictable battles just to prolong the conflict for more fighting. Angels and demons will often treat Valkyrie as a hated enemy.

» Enemies --//
These creatures are rarely short on enemies. When you make your living running around jumping into battles for no real reason aside from the love of a battle and fighting for honor, you're bound to have several. They are also so confrontational, they often find themselves fighting with others and they are very good at holding grudges.

» Magic --//
They are no more resistant to magic than a human. They can take kinetic blasts better but as far as actual magic goes they are just as vulnerable. They have iron wills, though, manipulating them will never be easy, but it can be done if one is persistent enough.

» Human Form --//
They can be killed more easily in their human form. Wounds heal at the same rate they would for a human in this form and must be nursed as such.

» Confrontational --//
They will pick a fight with just about anyone, even each other.
